I want to apologize for not having the reunion this year but after talking to several family members who said they weren't going to be able to attend it seems like the best idea is to give it a break for awhile. Hopefully this doesn't mean we aren't going to have reunions in the future. It has been good for us to unite as the family of Bud and Nora..... to keep their memories alive and to stay close as a family. We have shared so much through the years..... good and bad, happy and sad..... welcoming new members into the family and losing our loved ones.
Woohoo! I was glad to see that there is going to be another family reunion this year!! I was so disappointed not to be able to make it last year due for a couple of reasons...the main being I was still recovering from neck surgery and the long drive would have been too hard. Unfortunately I heard it wasn't a very good turnout either, and I'm sure the loss of Grannie's house made it hard for people to want to come.
OK, this is a silly place to put this, but I have a really nasty long link that I need to send to someone. I am pondering riding this route on my bicycle. If you're interested, let me know! The reason that I'm posting it here is so that maybe I can persuade some others to ride
Just wanted to say that I had the pleasure of getting to see Jimmy's band, the Moonshine Mafia, play at Carol's on June 16th. I guess it's been named the "Bull Mountain Bash" and talk is that is will be done again next year. I for one will plan to go again. It was great fun,... great music,.... lots of fantastic food and naturally great to enjoy being with the family! Carol and the gang did a fantasic job!!!! Jimmy's girls can really sing too! Hopefully pictures will be posted soon and.... Jimmy.....love the band....keep up the good work!
Hey all, I just wanted to say that I'm so glad Paul and I got the chance to come down for the reunion. It was great to see everyone who was able to come, and for those who couldn't ....you don't know what you missed! The weather was beautiful, the food was good and plenty, and the family was wonderful!
It's always sad to see how many we have lost through the years, but it is great to get together and talk about them and share memories. That keeps them alive in our hearts and minds. It was fantastic to see Uncle Arnold and Uncle Johnny together. What a blessed treat!
Vic, I was just checking things out and was reading the blogs I've written when I suddenly realized I have been referring to you as Jeff. Well, they say the mind is the first to go. Shoot, I can't even keep my own kids' names straight sometimes. I do know who you are, .....really! :-)
"Howdy" everyone from the far reaches of northern Ohio. It's hard to believe the time is almost here for the reunion. I'm looking so forward to going down and seeing everyone, so I expect as many of you that can, to be there!! :-)
Jeff, I love how this website is growing and I really like the addition of the "Written Items" section.
Love to one and all,
Jeannie
I haven't had the chance to see this website for a little while. I love the new pictures, especially in the historical gallery album. Jeff, this is absolutely great. I have some pictures that I want send you to scan and put in also.
Love to you and any of the family that sees this.
Ok, I'm making my 3rd attempt to post a blog. The other 2 didn't make it for some reason. I'm not going to write anything other than this, until I know I'm doing it right.

For those that may not have heard, I actually took a vacation!!
